My name is Rosemarie Hanus and I love to create things.

Years ago, I dabbled in stained glass, and then started to melt it. At that time, there were few others lampworking, and I began to neglect that avenue.

I them moved on to knitting, specializing in pictoral wallhangings produced on computerized knitting machines. I did this for years, until moving into a new house with little room for my knitting machines. Sadly, those machines are currently stored, but I suspect I will return to them eventually. I then began a similar pursuit, creating smaller, more detailed tapestries on my embroidery machine. I still create these, and I call them thread paintings.

Once bitten by the glass bug, always smitten, I have returned to my passion with glass. I acquired a small bench mounted torch, and now create small glass objects, typically beads, but sometimes marbles and pendants. My pre-teen son has also developed a talent for melting glass.

After several years practicing this art, I decided to list a few items on eBay. Much to my delight, items were purchased, and my ebay career was born.
